For my classic EPs, I’ll actually go with two Chicago ones. Talked about it last year in my EP year end, but Smashing Pumpkins’ Aeroplane Flies High box set really got me into EPs as there were a ton of great Mellon Collie b-sides in there. The other one I have to go with is Owen - The EP. Still maybe my fav thing Mike Kinsella has done under that moniker.
That Helen Stellar EP is fantastic. I'm glad I was able to get something on your radar! That's no easy feat. Crushed's EP is/was one of my faves this year as well.
Really amazing that Helen Stellar EP. Even went back and listened to that debut album to make sure I didn’t miss something forever ago and nope, all their EPs including this one are superior! Crushed is wonderful. Plenty of good shorgaze this year.
The Tobey Leaman track is stellar. What's your top EP all time? or maybe 5?

Definitely! I think my EP list will definitely over index on shoegaze- and I'm totally happy about it.
