At Mama Mañana Records, we’re in full celebration mode with Zivi’s debut album, Lost in Love, dropping next Friday (9/15)!

I’ll have more about the record next week, but in the meantime, kick off your weekend with his heady set from a few weeks ago. Supporting Mikaela Davis, who is touring her fantastic new album And Southern Star, Zivi went all out for this one. You never know how many members of his live band, The Rocks, will show up, but on this sticky August night, it included a seven (!) piece band.

Joined by his partner Kelsey Tucker on keys, Ilan Gitter on bass, Kendall Jones (who produced Lowmello’s recent EP, also on the label) on lead guitar and lap steel, drum whiz Jonah Minkus, and a two-piece horn section, Zivi and The Rocks shredded through this 45-minute set.

Filmed by Monty Montgomery of Stephen Anthony Productions and audio straight from the soundboard, Live at Meow Wolf is a chance to hear some unreleased songs before Lost in Love arrives next week.
